With the support of The Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Bellefaire JCB delivers exceptional, high-quality behavioral health services to students and families in Jewish Day Schools across Greater Cleveland. For more than 25 years, Bellefaire has been a trusted partner to local schools, embedding highly qualified, licensed therapists on site to promote the social and emotional well-being of students, families, and school staff. These services are provided at no cost to families or schools.

What distinguishes the Jewish Day School Counseling program is Bellefaire’s unique expertise in pairing schools with culturally responsive clinicians. Therapists are carefully selected for their clinical excellence as well as their deep understanding of, and respect for, the values, traditions, and nuances of the Jewish communities they serve. This intentional, culturally informed model is widely regarded as a hallmark of the program’s effectiveness and enduring success.

Jewish Day School counselors provide direct behavioral health care and consultation through outreach, counseling, crisis intervention, education, and training. Common referral concerns include:

JDN Early Childhood Center provides exceptional, full-day, year-round early learning for children from six weeks to five years of age. Rooted in Jewish education and values, JDN proudly serves children and families of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. The Jewish Youth Mentoring program (formerly JBBBSA) creates meaningful, long-term mentoring relationships that play a vital role in helping young people build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of identity and belonging. A trusted presence in the lives of children and adolescents, mentors provide consistent guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling—protective factors that are proven to support healthy development and emotional well-being.

What sets our mentoring program apart is its clinical foundation. Each mentoring relationship is thoughtfully matched and supported by licensed clinical social workers, ensuring a high standard of care and ongoing guidance for both mentors (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”). This professional oversight strengthens relationships, supports families, and helps address challenges as they arise, allowing matches to grow safely, intentionally, and successfully over time.
